Moose on the Loose

Topic: 6A Interdependence and adaptation

For the first time in 1000 years moose are in the Scottish Highlands. The pair of moose has been flown in from Sweden and the landowner has big plans to bring back other animals that have disappeared from the landscape. He hopes that bears, wolves and big cats may join the largest members of the deer family.

In this activity children will identify animals and construct food chains. They will form an argument for or against the idea of this wildlife enclosure.
