Light SOS

Topic: Light

Recently, a group of children stranded under the Dover cliffs at night had to use their mobile phones as beacons to guide the rescue services to them. Your class will roleplay a similar scenario and use their understanding of the way light travels to try and guide helicopters to rescue them before the tide comes in!

This is just one of a range of fun activities in this resource that you can pick and choose from to reinforce and expand childrens understanding about light. Children can warn of the coming Spanish Armada, zap aliens to protect the planet earth, and build periscopes to see over WW1 trenches!
